Chin Fillers

The chin governs more of the face’s harmony than most people realise. With filler, its size, length, projection, shape and symmetry can all be refined — and the whole profile balanced.

Five dimensions of the chin

Size. A small chin can be enlarged with filler for better balance against the nose and lips.

Length. Some patients have a naturally short chin. Lengthening it with filler harmonises the proportions between the upper and lower face.

Projection. A recessive (set-back) chin is very common when seen from the side. With filler we create a stronger, more projected chin — in profile the nose bridge should align with the front edge of the chin.

Shape. Male clients often want more width for a masculine expression; for female clients, more length and an angled, V-shaped, tapered chin gives a softer, more feminine look.

Symmetry. An asymmetric chin can be evened out and balanced.

Chin and jawline — one whole

At the consultation your anatomy is carefully evaluated and the practitioner shows how it can be improved. We often consider combining the chin with the jawline for a more V-shaped face — partly for the contour itself, partly to counteract jowls, the sagging along the jawline that ageing can bring.

Altogether the treatment gives a slimmer facial shape where the proportions between the upper and lower face are harmonised. A lengthened chin also provides the V-shape associated with feminine features.     If you wish, a local anaesthetic cream is applied to the treatment area for a more comfortable injection. It takes effect within 10–15 minutes and lasts throughout the treatment.

  5. Mapping of injection points

    Injection points are marked on the treatment area for a perfect result.

  6. Cleaning & disinfection

    The treatment area is cleaned and disinfected for a sterile, safe procedure.

  7. Injection

    The injections proceed step by step, with you involved in every decision throughout the process.

  8. Feedback

    You review the result. If anything needs adjusting, the treatment continues until you are satisfied.

  9. Massage of the area

    Finally, our aesthetic experts massage the treated area to encourage even distribution and achieve the desired look and feel.

  10. Photo / After picture

    For documentation purposes (mandatory) and publication on social media & the website (optional).

  11. Aftercare information

    You receive instructions on how to care for the treated area over the following hours.
