Nasolabial Folds

Nasolabial folds — the lines from the nostrils down towards the corners of the mouth — can give a tired impression that does not reflect how you feel. With precisely placed filler the folds soften and the face regains its glow.

Why do the folds appear?

As the skin ages, collagen production decreases and elasticity fades. The fatty tissue beneath the skin slowly descends from the cheekbones, and the fold between nose and mouth deepens. In some people the line is congenital and visible from a young age — the treatment can be a good option then too.

Nasolabial folds deepen gradually over time. Left untreated, they can eventually form a deep, permanent wrinkle that is considerably harder to address afterwards — treating preventively is therefore often wise.

How the treatment works

With strategically placed dermal filler we lift the skin that has lost its elasticity and firmness, fill out the fold along the nose and lips and give the face a fresher, more rested expression. The result is visible immediately after treatment.

    If you wish, a local anaesthetic cream is applied to the treatment area for a more comfortable injection. It takes effect within 10–15 minutes and lasts throughout the treatment.

  5. Mapping of injection points

    Injection points are marked on the treatment area for a perfect result.

  6. Cleaning & disinfection

    The treatment area is cleaned and disinfected for a sterile, safe procedure.

  7. Injection

    The injections proceed step by step, with you involved in every decision throughout the process.

  8. Feedback

    You review the result. If anything needs adjusting, the treatment continues until you are satisfied.

  9. Massage of the area

    Finally, our aesthetic experts massage the treated area to encourage even distribution and achieve the desired look and feel.

  10. Photo / After picture

    For documentation purposes (mandatory) and publication on social media & the website (optional).

  11. Aftercare information

    You receive instructions on how to care for the treated area over the following hours.
